Viva Pinata: Trouble In Paradise The Lickatoad

In this article I will discuss how to get a Lickatoad pinata to appear, visit, reside, romance and different tricks and variations for this lovely pinata. at this point you should be well accquainted with your garden and how to play the romance mini game. The Lickatoad pinata represents a frog in real life.

The Lickatoad pinata is one of the easier aquatic

type pinatas that you can get to appear in your garden. To make it appear you need to have gotten the pond head for your shovel. To have this lovely little pinata visit your garden you must have at least one pinometer of water. In order for the Lickatoad pinata to become a resident in your garden there must be at least two pinometers of water, and it has to eat a Taffly pinata.

*Note* in order to romance any pinata species you must have at least two of the same species as residence in your garden. Now that you have two lovely little Lickatoad pinatas in your garden your ready to start the romance process with them. First access the builder from your village menu and have him set up a Lickatoad house in your garden, this will cost you about 330 chocolate coins. You must also retain at least two pinometers of water in your garden. Lastly each Lickatoad will need to eat a green Flutterscotch. You will know when your Lickatoads are ready to romance when they both have pink hearts appear above their heads. Direct them toward each other and then complete the mini romance game. Continue to romance these great pinatas to earn the achievement of master romancer. *Note* in order to become a master romancer you must retain the pinatas in your garden until you unlock this achievement, if you sell the pinats that you have breed before earning this achievement you will not earn this achievement.

Now once you have become, or you are on

your way to becoming a master romance you will have the oppurtunity to have wild card pinatas. You will know when you have this chance as the hearts in the romance mini game will be flashing. You must collect every heart and hit no bad guys in order to win a wild card variation. There are three wild card variations to this pinata. One is that the pinata will have horns around its mouth. Another variation is it will have crests on both sides. The last wild card variation for this pinata is it will be born with webbed legs.

In addition to wild card versions of this pinata you can have color variations of the Lickatoad. Feed your Lickatoad an apple to see its color change to red. A goosberry will change its color to green. Finally feed your Lickatoad pinata a bluebell seed to change its color to purple.

There are two tricks that this pinata can learn. Feed your Lickatoad a poppy flower to have it learn one. When you hear the drum roll tap your Lickatoad with the trick stick which is accessed from the menu. To have it learn another trick instruct your pinata to eat a Mousemallow pinata. Again make sure that you tap your pinata with the trick stick when the drum roll sounds.

Your Lickatoad pinata is important for other pinatas to either come or romance in your garden. Having two Lickatoad pinatas will help the Crowla pinata visit, eating two will help it become a resident. Cherrapin pinatas need to eat a Lickatoad in order to be ready to romance.

Some more fun facts about your Lickatoad pinata. Lickatoads and Newgat pinatas do not get along and will start fights with each other. The Lickatoad pinata enjoys being watered by your watering can which can be accessed from your menu. Feed your Lickatoad pinata a nightshade berry and tap it with your shovel before it falls and see your Lickatoad turn into a Lackatoad pinata (this will also unlock another achievement).
